Walsh River Quarry
Access via Borzi Road Arriga or Springmount Road Arriga
Walsh River Quarry is a hard rock quarry, west of Mareeba producing Main Roads accredited gravels for sealed and unsealed roads and aggregates for concrete, asphalt and bitumen seals. The quarry also produces drainage, gabion, ballast and other sized rock types and select gravels ideal for unsealed rural roads, headlands and pads. Materials can be pugged to be supplied at Optimum Moisture Content and or Cement Stabilised as required.

Biboohra Sands is a sand pit, north of Mareeba, producing Main Roads accredited fine aggregate for concrete and asphalt and screened bedding sand, washed coarse and washed fine sands for pipe and conduit laying including fine sand accredited with EnviroSeptic (Accreditation Number 77).
The quarry also provides clay for capping and embankments.
