About Us
In 1996, Tableland Earthmoving and Raw Materials Pty Ltd, which traded as TERM Civil Construction and Quarry Supplies was established by the Stankovich and Musumeci Families with Boris, Mick and Sam at the helm. In 2019, they changed its name to CQB Services to better reflect their products and services across multiple businesses.
CQB Services operates three quarries across the Tablelands, producing a wide variety of materials to commonly required specifications and materials to meet unique specifications for particular projects.
The Walsh River Quarry, west of Mareeba, produces Main Roads accredited gravels for sealed and unsealed roads and aggregates for concrete, asphalt and bitumen seals.
The quarry also produces drainage, gabion, ballast and other sized rock types and select gravel ideal for unsealed rural roads, headlands and pads.
Quincan Quarry, near Yungaburra, produces lightweight aggregates in various sizes ideal for bedding, drainage, horticulture and landscaping and gravels for unsealed roads, headlands and pads.
Biboohra Sands, north of Mareeba, produces Main Roads accredited fine aggregate for concrete and asphalt, screened bedding sand, washed coarse and washed fine sands for pipe and conduit laying. The quarry also provides clay for capping and embankments.
CQB Services provides delivery services for all materials in multiple combinations including quad dogs, side and end tippers and body trucks. With experienced drivers supported by a GPS-tracked fleet management system, clients can depend on the safe, timely and cost-effective delivery of materials.
Our team has supplied and delivered material to major works projects in our area, for both government and private sectors, including major road network upgrades, residential, commercial and industrial land developments, car parks and building pads to name a few. We also service the rural sector with materials to construct roads, surface and subsurface drains, headlands and more.
